Disc Check stuck. Same spot everytime?

Running Disc Check (via Tune-up utilities or control panel etc, doesn't matter what way). Having issues with computer and EVERY time I run thorough Disc Check, it gets stuck (left it for 9 hours even!) at this : File Data Stage 4 of 5 : 11% 26930 of 224560 files processed.... Help?? Nothing solves it, I have tried a safe mode avg scan as well and it gets stuck at C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\AVG10\avgscana.exe... not sure if they are related.
