Texturing over wood paneling...?

I have researched the web and feel like I have a good grasp on what it is going to take to fill in the seams and grooves of the paneling. It looks like if I fill in with a product like a latex filler that has some stretch that I will be fine with no cracking. What I can't seem to get a grasp of is what do I do with the corners. I think I need to put the metal corner used in drywall or at least tape to clean up the seams on the corners? Anybody have an experience with this??
