Bruno Mars' Grenade Piano Cover?

It's quite a simplistic but also watered down cover. At times the melody isn't quite in sync with the backing track but it's great that you've done it all by ear. However it's lacking in a fluid rhythmic quality and kind of just really short and choppy. It's as if you're trying to pin a note down to each word of the lyrics, which you don't have to do. It's a cover so you're free to put your own twist on it and interpret it in your own way. If your aim was to make it a direct word for word translation of it, then you've done alright. I just think it's really quite basic, lacking in feeling. Maybe play around with the melody a bit, add some sustain etc to make it your own.
