Do you think home plate umpires should be required to appeal to 1st or 3rd on a check swing?

Yes every single check swing should be appealed to 1st or 3rd. It's the plate umpires job to call the balls and strikes but if your looking at the pitch how are you suppose to able to tell if someone swung or not on a check swing? That should be the 1st base umpire for a righty and 3rd base for lefty to decide.
